I haven't had it in years, so i couldn't comment on their courses recently, but a few years ago they were great, and they didn't seem like the type of site to regress. The app is similar to CBT Nuggets or Lynda. I had Lynda previously when i was working on my Associates in Graphic Design (I got that, and have since switched to a Computer Science/Networking degree) and it was really nice for learning things like Photoshop and design based things. CBT Nuggets Video Training (4.4 stars out of 5) and Pluralsight (4.3 stars out of 5) have both earned similar ratings from IT pros, but Pluralsight is mentioned around 3 times more frequently than CBT Nuggets Video Training, making Pluralsight the more popular option.

Their demos are horrible when they explain stuff. Plural sight is a big big waste of money. But later evolved as an online learning platform. The ability to have CBTNuggets accessible to the point that you could search on their website, pull up a series of videos, and get a better understanding of the thing you're trying to work on is really great.
